...a chap expect to earn in the UK (talking average rates here - not the Norwich end or the London end - say South West or midlands) who has 13 years experience in software development, is very experienced in Microsoft development, expert level SQL Server design & implementation & administration, in software architecture and large integration projects. Lots of experience in Client / Server, web and mobile environments, some in trading IT, and 8 years in line management and project management on small to large (EUR 1m, 20 FTE) projects ? Also all that to a smaller scale on open source and Java / Oracle environments. Mother tongue English, pretty close to fluent Dutch, pretty good French and basic German, not that that's probably of any consequence in the UK though...
Oh, and generally all round top chap unless he gets let loose on internet message boards.

Just wondered as I'm putting together a package I want for a job I've been offered here, but realise I should keep an eye on the UK market value as I'll probably move back in 3 to 4 years.
