Reading The Fiver tonight, it seems to be down to what definition of "in negotiations"
you accept.
Souness says that his offer of ?20m, and the subsequent flat refusal from Wolves constitutes "being in negotiations". Wolves say there are no negotiations - they haven't denied he's made an offer, they've just denied that they're in negotiations.
