a few interesting factoids garnered from wikipedia

i shouldn't spend half as much time as i do on there... anyway...

american football (aka ''soccer'')

secondly, as some of you might be aware, the prodigal son himself, paul dalglish, moved to an mls team in the middle of 2006 (houston dynamo, though in the silly name stakes 'real salt lake' takes the biscuit), having warmed the bench at livingstone and hibs for a season or two. what you might not know is that he played a big part in houston winning the league, scoring on debut, and then adding another seven to his tally, including two in the semi-final (their league turns in to a cup apparently). now i knew that the mls was a weak league, but this is ridiculous. unless he improved beyond recognition in those years spent sitting on his arse in scotland, mls really is s**t.
