It Is!
When I spent some time working in Worthing, said walk used to make me shudder, even at 8:30am in the morning-it's really like the Bronx, grafeeti on the grafeeti, all the shops borded up, evidence of fires everywhere, detritus of nocturnal activities, sharp little eyes observing you from darkened doorways...shudder!
The point is, Worthing isn't that bad as south coast towns go, despite what I've said-for sheer unpleasantness, danger and a lack of imagination in planning and design, Bognor Regis wins hands down for me, with Littlehampton not far off-even Selsey has its "places!"!!
