Have a look at the FF plugins
There are s**tloads of them, and they're free. Some useful ones;
IETab - for when things simply insist on using IE
British English Dictionary - underlines spelling mistakes like in Word
FoxClocks - great if you have family scattered around the world.
FootieFox - score updates from around Europe
Linkification - converts text links to clickable ones.
Also, you can make the thing look like anything; browse through the Themes as well. Opera is similarly well-off with useful widgets and themes.
