Can't find an English report of it, but just read a news story that a Norwegian prisoner
in a prison within the arctic circle escaped from jail by stripping naked, smearing himself in vegetable oil, and sliding out between the bars!
His cellmate also tried but only managed to get his head and shoulder out before getting stuck.
The bloke escaped naked, in the arctic circle, on Christmas night. Imagine what that would do to your knackers !
