I have a problem with one of my boxers -
he has a lovely temperament but, like most boxers , is very boisteropus. He was a rescue (although not ill treated nad of pedigree breed) but clearly was never socialised with dogs as a puppy. I get the impression he wasn't socialised with humans either and spent a lot of time on his own. The only dog he has really played with is my other boxer, whichis a biggun. They play fight, but do no harm at all to each other. Trouble is, he wants to play the same with other dogs and many of them see it a s aggression leading to a snarl, whine and then all kicks off. I don't take the risk and keep him on the lead unless there are no dogs or people around. It's amaazing though how other people let their dogs run up too him, even though they can see I'm trying to keep him well away.
