It's been coming a long, long time.
The Souness argument I found comical; the Mick McCarthy "defence" was too ridiculous to really wind me up, except when he arrogantly refused to accept the opinion of a Sunderland fan who went to their Premiership games to the point where he drove away someone that everyone else was enjoying talking to.
The Thorne "defence", especially after the Leeds game, really ticked me off - I'm willing to ignore/tolerate his method of stating and re-stating his opinion when it's about another team, but when everyone else makes at least some effort to watch Norwich City and he turns down free tickets, preferring to base his opinions solely on the opposition radio coverage, it gets on my tits.
This Dublin "argument" is the last straw really - just too far over the edge for me to put up with. If he gets stick for it he's brought it purely on himself.
