It's not about paying a few weeks wages...

Most players need to know the area, need to get their children into schools, need to buy a house and settle their families in.

Or, if young enough, need to time to get used to being away from their parents and friends and familiar surroundings...

Norwich is in the middle of nowhere as far as many people are concerned.

Perhaps THAT is what has happend.

Perhaps we have already done many a deal and are waiting for a pre-determined date for the transfer to go through.
