good points BUT overall what's happening today is still a good thing...

and I'm afraid it is only many people and not all people in the west know about poverty. The point of it is though is to make the G8 leaders think about what their doing and if they do know of all the ways to improve Africa then it puts pressure on them to do it and if that means changing their policies and clean themseleves a bit. Remember the G8 Leaders are all interested in votes at the end of the day so if they make clear change after all this then they secure many a vote. It's a shame they won't make trade fair though as they know full well that risks far too many 'other' votes.
