For your information, I have already flown in from the US twice this year for Fulham home game and for the Newcastle home game. Due to work and family commitments following City from Chicago is not easy. Neither of those games were particularly glamorous fixtures---if I was a glory hunter I would probably follow Chelsea or Man U. Or the Chicago Cubs or for that matter Chicago Fire....a lot cheaper I might add and safer given flying in a post 9/11 climate.
So Mr T......if I lived in the UK your comments might be valid...but not to toot my own horn or anything but I am a true supporter. I could probably get a story in the EDP for my commitment but that's not my style...glory is not what I am after...I dunno how old u are but I grew up on the barlay in the 70s and have followed city ever since.
There is nothing remotely cool about following Nowich/this season particularly when we were the brunt of national media jokes....lets be havin u
and if u think that flyin from Chi Town to London for a weekend relagation game is glory hunting then I suggest u get a life or perhaps get out of Norwich and travel a bit.
If I do get a ticket i will have to miss work on Monday and suffer jet lag for a week. Gettin a last minuite ticket will mean I will also mean paying for the nose for a flight
