Selling Earnie our only hope?

Never quite understand fully what our financial position is as Doomcaster contradicts or certainly confuses me every time he speaks about it

But I assume the bottom line is we have hardly any cash to spend

We need 4/5 quality players to come in. We basically have one asset in Earnie. So our only hope is to sell Earnie in January and hope PG spends wisely?? Any other options out there barring a miracle?
