Club is in a total mess - quite how we end up ?19m in debt with a season in the Prem + two years parachute payments and 24,000 in the ground every week I don't know. We somehow seem to have combined a lack of prudence with a lack of ambition.
Etuhu, Robinson and Hughes today might as well have been sitting next to me for all the good they did. At least Hughes tried but the bloke is simply no better than a Conference South player.
Really looked like we were more than happy with a draw.
I think if we can get Safri, Earnie and Croft/Chadwick fit this team is capable of being a top six side, but without three or four key players we become relegation candidates.
And for that, my friends, we can blame Nigel Worthington for two and a half years of negligent management and the Board for not sacking him at least 12, probably 18 months, earlier.
