Why do we need a new Centre Back?

I accept that last season we defended poorly and the only shining light at the centre of defence was Shackell, but we are now playing our football in the Fizzy league and have 4 players more than capable of playing CB at this level.

I'd be surprised if the board allow Worthy any money for a new CB when he has Flemming, Shackell, Charlton and Doherty at his disposal. I wouldn't waste any more money on CB's until we've offloaded a couple. The right hand side situation is different and needs sorting as I don't feel ML-J is 'that good' and cover is needed for Jonson.
