But an explanation.....

The last person to state their terms is the person whose terms are deemed to be valid.

So when you send in your article, send a copy of your payment terms. If they accept the article, they also accept your terms. So if you state payment in 7 days, they've got 7 days.

Now they won't actually do f**k all about it but you have got a legal stick to beat them with.

Fucked if I can remember what case it was though.
