Not until we buy a real midfield

At the moment, all our problems stem from the fact that the midfield is f**king woeful. I know it, you know it, Grant certainly knows it, and I'm pretty sure the players know it.

Combined with the Huckerby problem, that's why we are forced to play with 5 across the middle and yet we're still poor. We can't retain possession, we don't close down enough, we are unable to protect the back 4, and we don't provide Earnshaw with nearly enough support.

We don't have any real alternatives up front as Peter the Surfer is never fit and seldom much use when he is, and Grant sees Ryan Jarvis as best suited to playing in the hole (4-4-1-1), and in either case he has to fit the Great Enigma and top earner in there somewhere.
