Assuming Hucks on 15k/w and Greeno on 10k/w, that leaves ?7.752m and another 25 players remaining.
Of those 25, at least 4 are youngsters (Lewis, Ryan J Rossi J, Henderson) who won't be on more than ?1000/w (Probably less). This accounts for another ?208k, leaving ?7.544m to split amongst 21 players.
That leaves an AVERAGE WEEKLY WAGE of just under ?7k (?6908). AVERAGE. That is simply jaw-dropping, especially considering the players involved.
The stories of Peter the Surfer on ?8k/w and Hooves being lured here by a massive wage, it seems, are most probably true.
