?9m is 81% of ?11m so something (at least on the surface) doesn't appear to be adding up.
It may be that we did restructure the wages, then got rid of those we had reduced, and bought in others on more than those that left.
That would tie in with the "we decided to back the manager with the size of the wage bill" quote from a few days ago.
If so that's a touch silly.
