OK Reality Check

1 - we have much less spending money than we assumed
2 - For this reason the only hold up in hucks new contract is the money. He wants a pay rise - the club don't want to commit to it
3 - the main reason Worthy stayed in the summer was the pay off. They were hoping that the team could turn it around and they wouldn't have to commit to this huge payout that he obviously had written into his contract
4 - there will be a huge battle to keep Earnie in January. If say Charlton come in with 4 or 5 million then there will be many board members who would bite their hands off. Most of this money would not be available for transfers.
5 - this league is so crap that 3 or 4 wins could get us into the playoffs but if we don't go up this year we are proper screwed
