but Worthy's obsessed by them, and I personally think Thorne will be a much better goalscorer, esp in CCC, than Svennson was. As the rationale behind it seems to be that we needed a straight replacement for Sven I think it's an ok bit of business. We've lost Sven's wages off the bill, which are probably more than Thorne's, and also got a fee for him. Not too shabby, but I do generally agree that we could have done with another midfielder and/or centre half first. Seeing Cardiff are so obviously in the guano wonder if we could use Thorne to tap Gabbidon up...
