Well, it's a strategy that is refreshingly different and it is interesting
To see if he can create a seige mentality amongst the lot that he has inherited. I wonder if he has been influenced in any way shape or form by Delia Smith whose true colours come out after a few sherbets (her contemptuous expression during the lets be having you rant was extremely revealing). Perhaps Peter Grant has picked up on this? before the "disgrace" comment the party line was certainly one of "we are all in this together" but I do wonder now if the management of the fans is becoming even worse than that of the club? I can understand the all round frustration (booing our own players and celebrating opposition goals would piss off any official at any club and it has driven a rift amongst the fans). Like I say it is a strategy but I do wonder if it is a wise one. I bet Worthington had a wry smile at all of it.
I hope it all works out for all of us but I think the natural conclusion will be the acrimonious exit of Smith and co.
