You make a good point.
I was having this conversation with someone the other night. If I hadn't got into the habit of going week in, week out in the 70's and 80's (old c**t, yeah) I don't think I would be interested in football at all these days.
I often wonder why kids get in to it at all really. Although the answer is obvious, and all things move on, I struggle to justify the effort of going to games at all.
I should be more honest and just say I'm off to the pub untill i fall asleep every other week.
