Easier to do now than a little while ago

Worthington got progressively more stubborn as time went on. I don't think Hughes is anywhere near as bad as some make out - but really the relationship between the crowd and him deteriorated so much last season that he should have been gone last summer. I do really think that a lot of trouble has been caused by some of the ludicrous player interviews in the press - promising performances way above their ability or inclination to deliver. This time last year Hughes was in the EDP week in week out promising this that and the other and failing to deliver. This year it has been the likes of Etuhu, Robinson and the ludicrous Doherty. Surely it is time for the club to employ someone with a brain to manage relations with the press?
