I agree with Creo's comments re players in the media beforehand.

I am a firm believer, however, in the concept of both parties working to create a positive working atmosphere. And, whilst 25,000 people turn up, until they start supporting their team instead of using how much they've paid or how long they've had tickets as some kind of cock-measuring contest, sympathy is at a premium.

FWIW, I challenge anybody to go a week without a PC, let alone WOTB, then to go back to it with a 28.8k dial up connection meaning that you can't spend all day on here. It detaches you, and is like coming to the board as a newbie. I'm sure you'll be able to see where I'm coming from if you try it.
