Christ, I can't remember most of them ...

One of the most enjoyable gigs was TV Personalities at The Laurel Tree in Camden in '85 or '86. Turned out is was their last gig until a couple of years ago.

The Go-Betweens a couple of years ago in Copenhagen was fantastic; played the last couple of albums plus most of the best of the rest over an hour and three-quarters.

The Alice in Wonderland psychodelic Mystery Tours (showcasing Doctor and the Medics before they were famous) were just incredibly crazy, f**ked up (in a good way) and cracking events. That might be down to the drugs of course ...

The most murderous (not necessarily loud or ear-splitting) sound I've ever heard was Big Black at the Clarendon in the mid-80s. Truely remarkable and difficult to describe just how stunning it was.

Worst? I don't recall any particularly awful gig, although the TVPs comeback gig a couple of years ago was an intensely shambolic affair.
