wages were pretty much doubled for all..

in the big league. So Flem earned 10k a week instead of 5 for leading a defence that let in over 70 goals.
Even allowing for this, have never understood why the club peddle the theory that we made a loss in our one season in the big league. No point in getting promoted then is there?
