As said below, dropping Dublin did not massively influence the result
Dublin's done well, but on another day, without as much luck, we would have been beaten by Sunderland and hammered by WBA. Doherty and Shackell were ok, there was just so much space between defence and midfield and on the wings that the defence had to commit to certain areas, leaving others exposed.
The solution is to play proper wingers that track back - we don't have the organisation or ability amongst our central midfielders to successfully play any other way.
