Just remembered something else

Towards the end (ithink it was 2-1 at the time) Dion charged down their keepers clearance, he composed himself then tried to square it to Earnie (I think) but the linesman instantly put his flag up despite their being 3 defenders and the keeper playing him onside.

What was the flag for?
