Hucks' contract
Let's say he's on ?15k a week now, which is about right I think.
So let's say they have offered him ?7.5k.
On the one hand, that's still a massive whack and as he's said he doesn't need the money and loves Norwich then he should stay.
On ther other hand if Earnie is on, say, ?10-12k a week then I can understand Hucks not being happy on a point of principle. But then he's 30 and Earnie is 24, so that's another factor...though possibly illegal!
All in all, even at half his current wages, it could be seen as greedy of him to go for money reasons...but would you stay when you could earn ?7.5K a week more elsewhere?
If he wants to play Champs League football for Celtic for one last shot at the big time, however, then who could blame him?
Just needs to be sorted out for the good of the team. He needs to be in or out.
