midfield is problem
worthy left us with a totally hopeless midfield.
safri, robinson, ethuh, hughes, none seem able to win the ball and take it forward and then pass to a norwich striker, how many times do any of thes players actually run forward with the ball? how many times today did any midfield player slide the ball trhough for earnie to have a run. How many times did the midfield win the ball and put in a pass for hucks to run onto , ditto chadwick.
thats is a problem cos it means there is no link from defence to the forwards and leads to hoof ball.
I think worthys porblem was that players he has gamble with have been rubbish, signing Hucks or earnie were not really gambles. Signing hughes, ect were gambles. yes, some have worked, ie Drury but how many players has worthy signed and then got rid of in the past 4 years, so by the law of avergaes some will be good signings.
But TOTALLY AGREE about donkerty, he should never ever play for norwich again
