Get a Sony.

Longer battery life than an iPod, cheaper than an iPod with the same size disc, better looking than an iPod, better sound quality than an iPod.

I will give the iPod one advantage over the Sony - the iTunes software is about a trillion times better than Sony's nonsense.

There's no video capable sony mp3(4) player yet either, but coming soon apparently.
