Mate of mine was fined similarly for jumping on the picth at Twickenham last year when Ireland scored a try in the last minutes.

This is the Britain we live in now, folks: on the spot fines for minor indiscretions without the inconvencience of providing any evidence.

Old Git may be able to advise upon the likely success of challenging this sort of bollocks in court. Although, probably the police could easily wheel out a couple of "offended" members of the public
