The Sunday debate: Is fear killing football...
at the highest level?
According to my Sunday Papers, some of yesterdays Premiership matches were crap (I saw most of Man City v Newcastle and it qualified). It is beginning to look as if teams that have had a few (or two) seasons at the top start playing for a draw in every match and it is beginning to show in the huge gaps on the terraces (sorry seats).
Fans at top clubs are suggesting a Premiership of 10 teams playing each other 4 times so that their matchdays are not blighted by the poor quality of the lower teams.
If there is not a revolution in football soon with more money available to the lower leagues then what is the future.
Just thought I'd ask.
