IED - some serious advice

You ought to stop stressing about getting laid because it's making you desperate and women can smell desperation at 500 paces. You need to throw yourself into other aspects of uni life. Play sport. Drink seriously. Join clubs in whatever interests you (unless it's Dungeons and Dragons, in which case reorientate your life). Make some good male mates - my six closest male friends come from my college days, way back in the 1890s. Even do some work; try to learn and expand your intellectual horizons.

All these things will get you laid in the end. If you play sport you'll feel fitter, look better, feel more confident. Drinking seriously has many drawbacks in terms of getting laid (brewer's droop, vomiting on people's shoes, saying offensive things to the wrong people) but (a) it's fun and (b) eventually you'll be drunk in female company which is also drunk and you'll be away. Joining clubs will put you in touch with like-minded people, be fun in their own right, and may have girls as well; again, if you're doing something you enjoy, you'll feel happier and more confident and thus less desperate to pull and thus more likely to pull. Making good male mates carries not only all the above advantages but also the sporting chance that one or more of them will know some girls and broaden your social acquaintance. Doing some work is the least potent tip, but at least you might learn something.

Basically, stop acting like a c**t-struck teenager and throw yourself into other things. It's the law of opposites; the less desperate to get laid you seem to be, the more likely to get laid you are. Meanwhile, your right hand remains your best friend.

Oh, and DON'T POST ON HERE WHEN YOU'RE FEELING DOWN because all that's going to happen is that you're going to get the piss ripped out of you. If you want sympathy, find the local student counselling organisation.
