He is an outstanding player

He has the pace of Rio, the playing abilities of Rio, and the heading and tackling abilities of Terry (with pace), and is also Spurs captain so i presume quite influential. His positional sense is second to none. He came of age when called upon as 4th choice centre back in the Euro's.
