Not been to windy Welly yet.

I work up in Auckland, but have travelled most of the Norht Island. If your heading North check out the Hawkes Bay (Napier and Gisbourne are chilled out and the weather is good and the scenery out of this world.

Bay of Pleanty is good too, lots of Kiwi fruit!, get over to White Island an active volcano just of Whakatane. Whakatane is good to stop for a few days, a couple of nice bars. The Corramandel is really scenic too. North of Aukland check out the Bay of Islands, Paihia is a party town and is in such a beautiful location. Tropical dude, with lots of Dolphins.
