It was a rather good piece about music for the over 50s
Listeners saying that there are lots of stations aimed at the over 40s but none at the over 50s/over 60s and shouldn't the public service broadcaster fill this gap?
Saga was cited as a rare example of a commercial station aiming at this market, and saying that since it was so successful it showed there was a demand.
Then they had some chap from Radio 2 being frightfully defensive and saying that there was lots for the over 60s, you just had to know where to find it (which turned out to be twice a week at about 3am).
