He's not on the verge of the England squad

His problem was that he saw the writing on the wall and realised that as a ambitious young man that we were going no where under Worthington.

You of course would do something entirely different and sacrifice yourself on the altar of loyality. I am afraid the world doesn't operate in such terms

For my part I wish him all the good luck in the world and when he pulls on an England top I can say
"See him - he used to play for Norwich"
