Once he said he didn't want to move house Charlton were pretty much the only game in town adn Ipswich's bargaining power went through the floor. If Francis really wants to leave and is going to be a bad apple otherwise we need to sell - that limits our real bargaining power. I'd snap at ?1.5m because Francis wasn't exceptional in our Championship season and after Xmas last year he was crap. So his whole reputation rests on 5 months last season when it could be argued a handful of headline-grabbing goals camouflaged otherwise mediocre performances.
