Worthy needs a break
Lets face it who would want a job when thousands of fans want a positive result each week. I was not one of the 'Worthy Out' gang, but everyone has a sell by date in a pressurised job.
I can recall seeing Worthy at the Burnley game, arms folded, slouching against the dugout without a clue what to do next.
He should have gone at the end of last season, but he is an honourable man who wanted to do his best for City.
He must be truly upset at the present situation. His players, the formations he used and results coming.
Could it have happened under him? We will never know.
Whatever City are paying him, or have paid him to go, let him enjoy it.
The King is dead. Long live the King!
