MLJ/Holt deal from a Forest perspective
Morning chaps
Got to say I'm delighted with this deal. ML-J has been a super player for us over the course of his Forest career, but in the last two years he has had a number of injuries which have meant he has been a peripheral player at best. What's more, if the inside gossip is to be believed, his "injury" has been a fondness for the vin rouge of his homeland.
If he's fit and motivated, he's quick, good in the tackle, and surprisingly good in the air for such a little bloke. On the downside, he has a tendency to be indecisive at times, and his crossing is absolutely rotten.
As for Holt, the last time I saw him he was tearing our midfield to bits at Carrow Road. Surprised he has dropped to our division, I'd have thought he was still good enough for the Championship?
