I understand your argument but...

we know Holt can do a job in the Championship, but you'll struggle to find anyone that wanted him to play for us again. Graham Stuart was a solid Prem player 18 months ago, but I doubt anyone wanted him to stay either.

Edworthy is probably not the same player he was two years ago and is not getting any younger. Whilst MLJ is no spring chicken, he's almost 4 years younger and has been a solid player for Forest for the last 5 years. It's hardly a rash decision is it?
