Quick pointer to all those who are convinced

This is a MASSIVE season for this football and I do not need to explain why as we all know. We are in the last year of the parachute payments and failure to gain promotion will lead to the squad inevitably being broken up. I was told this by Roger Munby.

Judging by how serious this season is, appointing an experienced coach must have been the obvious action to take - and there were plenty of experienced coaches around to take over. Instead, we get an inexperienced guy who will either do very badly or will be a complete success.

With these things in mind I am quite disappoined at the board; it could be a decision that comes back to haunt them.

To me it appears that the board are attempting a "Boothroyd". Fine. If they pull it off, then great. If they get it wrong, they'll suffer the consequences and deservedly so.

This appointment makes me wish that Nigel Worthington hadn't left! Ooops...
