Just do it - but quickly

It's actually essential to keep your pc as up to date as possible. I have had mine running on automatic updates ever since I installed XP and am very pleased to have done so when comparing issues with friends who haven't. Worst thing that has happened so far is a Google toolbar upgrade that made me lose my "open in a new tab" option on IE7. And fixed that soon by installing the old version. B ebrave - go for it.
