So who do we think we are genuinely going for?

Blackburn say they have had no contact from Norwich about Bowen but its clear we have been contacting clubs as we have approached Southend about Tilson and are rumoured to have approached West Ham about Peter Grant.

Does this mean we are not interested in Bowen or is their chairman talking rubbish?

We clearly had a crack at Curbs as his agent said they had conversations with us about it.

Blackwell continues to shorten worryingly with the bookies!

All very confusing!

Waghorns article certainly seems to have put the cat amongst the pidgeons down in Southend anyway (their fans are very worried about those quotes). It could be that with his interest in the job being made public Tilson is taking the first steps to engineer a move away from Southend!
