Look, you've missed the point.

Both Thatcher's elbow and Zokora's cheating are part of an orchestrated effort to drive Pedro Mendes out of the English game for some reason. I don't know what Mendes has done wrong, exactly, and neither do you, but someone, somewhere is bullying him and it has to stop.

That's why people got so worked up about these incidents - if it was all happening to you, you wouldn't like it.
