It WON'T be Megson.
Like the well placed sources that would have you believe that a decision had already been made on our new man, and Worthy's successor was to have been at the game on Sunday... the Board are no closer to appointing the next Norwich City manager than they were 42 hours ago.
It may well be that Megson has expressed an interest to the Board and received an encouraging response to apply... but that message I believe has been rather exaggerated to the BBC's man in the Midlands, Pat Murphy.
The Board know that they have to get this appointment right. Going back over old ground is not an option that they'll ultimately persue.
