Hi all
I see further down that some of you are thinking that Royle might be a good replacement manager. He wouldn't. He has some good ideas but also some that are very dated - Magilton is nothing special, imo, but has done more on fewer resources already.
Royle had a fantastic youth set up and didn't use it properly. He has some good tactical knowledge but is not very motivational and his constant whining begins to grate after a while.
I'd be surprised if you could get Curbishley or Gullit (?!), there must be some good managers out there though within your reach.. Cotteril, Tilson, Newell etc. Unfortunately for you at this time, there is also a LOT of dross floating about, likes of Robson, Souness, O'Leary, Blackwell etc all need avoiding.
Let's hope you pick up and we continue to improve so that the game at your place actually means something to both teams this year!
