Two very telling events about today
1. The Board had issued the manager with an ultimatum. The players knew that and if they'd wanted to they could've kept in his position today by all out effort and commitment. Clearly they didn't care too much.
2. In the post-match interview with Roy Waller, Earnie was asked if he "felt sorry for the manager". He totally avoided answering and instead said that he felt sorry for "us" i.e. the players.
For me, both events spoke volumes.
