I don't think Plymouth was the final straw for the fans benefit

To me, personally, the fans are the fast reason why it was done

The reason it was done was because the players reacted, and that became the factor. In that, the board think "we can protect a manager from the media and anything as possible, but from the players scrapping, no chance!" Especially as they'd removed a coach from the job

The board removed Hamilton in exactly the same way. Delia actually liked the guy (so did I actually, cue the abuse), but once the players kick a stink up, the teams in trouble

Norwich fans can pat each other on the back thinking they might have put pressure on the board, but deep down, it means f**k all, cos Delia only cares onces the squad turns on the manager. imo
